What we process: photos you upload; images and videos you create; text you type in the Studio and Story; an anonymous user ID and install ID; if you sign in with email, Apple or Google, your email address and account ID; push token; purchase history (via the stores and RevenueCat); app usage data; crash reports; an advertising identifier only if you allow tracking.

Why: to create your images/videos (your explicit consent and our contract with you); to manage your account, coins and coin pack purchases; to prevent abuse (one free trial per device); to improve the app (anonymous analytics, crash reports); if you allow it, usage recordings: the screens you open, your taps and the features you use, captured as masked screenshots (what you type, your email and images are hidden; the selfie screen is never recorded), based on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw anytime in Settings > Privacy > Usage recordings.

Sharing: your photo and text are sent to third-party AI providers abroad (Google Cloud Vertex AI, Google's Gemini models) only to create your content, based on your explicit consent. Data is stored on our own servers (Oracle Cloud) and traffic passes through Cloudflare. Payments: Apple/Google and RevenueCat; notifications, crash reports and anonymous usage analytics: Google Firebase (ad personalization off); usage recordings, only if you allow them: PostHog (EU servers in Frankfurt; recordings kept for at most 90 days).

Retention: face photos are deleted automatically after 72 hours, created content after 30 days. You can delete everything instantly in the app. Your photos are never used to train AI models.

Brand images (ad mode): If you add a brand to a Story Studio series, the logo and product image you upload, the brand name, the tagline and the time of your rights confirmation are stored with the series and used only for that series' episodes. They are deleted when you remove the brand, delete the series or delete your account.

YouTube, TikTok and Instagram: MythShot does not connect to your accounts on these platforms and does not upload or post videos on your behalf. The app only suggests a title, caption and hashtags for sharing; you share the video yourself from your phone's share sheet. Access tokens for YouTube or TikTok accounts you connected earlier are no longer used and will be deleted; you can also revoke the permission in your Google/TikTok account settings. MythShot's use of information received from Google APIs (Sign in with Google) adheres to the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

My digital twin (optional): If you choose, you can keep one face photo as your "digital twin" so you don't need a new selfie for every scene. This means a face photo (an image that may contain biometric features) is kept longer than 72 hours, based on your separate explicit consent. At most one digital twin is kept; it is used only for your own creations, never shared and never used to train models. You can withdraw consent any time with Settings → My digital twin → Delete; the photo is deleted immediately. Deleting your account deletes your digital twin too. Faces that appear to belong to someone under 18 are never kept as a digital twin.
